Hi there!

My name’s Cal! I much appreciate your interest in my camera work, as it’s been one of my favorite pastimes for years. This in addition to being a wildlife biologist, mediocre musician, vintage enthusiast, and avid traveler. I started my business at the ripe old age of 14 and have quite enjoyed the journey of developing my personal style and adapting to different sorts of subjects.

I would say my “first love” within this realm is classic portraiture — just capturing people as they are, as they show up in front of my camera. This then became inevitably blended with my passion for live music as I dove head-first into concert photography and videography. Within local music scenes, I also found myself filming and editing for various live-recording projects. I’ve since been involved with several student films as assistant camera and camera operator, as well as capturing content for small businesses and corporate events.

At the end of the day, I will forever be a visual storyteller and a student of this craft. It would be an honor to help bring your creative vision to life, whatever form that may take.
